Hospitality Ministries

Our Ushers greet people as they enter the Sanctuary and provide seating assistance. They are responsible for climate and crowd control in the sanctuary and assist in receiving the offering and helping with communion.

In addition to the Sunday morning service, Ushers may be called upon to provide assistance for special events in the Sanctuary such as concerts, movies and funerals.

The purpose of the Greeter Ministry is to welcome all who attend the services of Calvary Chapel Ridgecrest. They assist people with finding directions around the Church facilities and grounds by helping people locate the Sanctuary, Bookstore, Information Booth, Ministry sign-up tables, Nursery, Restrooms and assist with locating any of the other ministries on the Church property. They also help parents and children with finding their classrooms. Our Greeter Ministry provides an excellent opportunity to exercise your gift of hospitality and to meet new people by greeting them as they enter the Church buildings.

The Information Booth personnel provide information on all the ministries offered by Calvary Chapel Ridgecrest. The Information Booth has a library of all the Calvary Chapel Ridgecrest ministries and the personnel hand these out as requested by the attendees. In addition, they hand out New Visitors packets to first time visitors. These packets contain a welcome letter from the Church Board and additional materials that explain the vision and goal of Calvary Chapel Ridgecrest, plus a free ticket for our Café. As required, the Information Booth personnel may also assist the Greeters in helping parents and children find their Sunday school classrooms and the Youth Sanctuary.

The Hall Walker Ministry supports the Sunday school teachers by delivering snacks and water to each class room as needed and making Sunday school lesson copies for the teachers. They assist the teacher in retrieving a parent as needed. The Hall Walker roams from classroom to classroom on a periodic basis to ensure that the teacher's needs are taken care of.
