Equipping of the saints for the work of Ministry

Ephesians 4:12

The Worship Ministry at Calvary Chapel Ridgecrest exists to fulfill a call to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we gather together in our weekly worship services, we sing songs of praise and worship in adoration, allowing God’s Holy Spirit to move among us so that we may have hearts to hear from Him. Worship is the natural response of someone who comes to God with a grateful heart, giving Him thanks for all He is and all He has done.

This ministry is for those who have been musically gifted by the Lord and have a passion to use their gifts and talents to glorify Jesus Christ. The goal of this ministry is to draw attention to the person of Jesus and encourage the body of Christ to “come before His presence with singing” – Psalm 100. As followers of Christ, it’s our great joy and privilege to bring Him our hearts in praise. We believe worship to God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship

Sound Ministry

The sound ministry is responsible for providing clear and distraction-free audio support to all ministries requiring amplification, which include:

Sunday morning Pastoral teachings, guest speakers, worship team, weddings, funerals, concerts, movies, plays and other special events.
Utilizing the soundboard, amplifiers, effects and other special audio equipment.
Setting up microphones, monitors and music stands.
Recording sermons for the Audio Ministry.
Minor audio repairs.

Multi-Media Ministry

The vision of the Multimedia Ministry is to creatively support all areas of ministry through media. By keeping the CCR vision of equipping the saints (Eph. 4:12) in mind, the multimedia ministry strives to equip the saints with the technological tools needed to spread God's Word. Volunteers who support this ministry operate a computer to display sermon notes, worship service songs and visuals, wedding photo and videos, special events photos and videos and various other electronic devices.

Video Ministry

This ministry uses video equipment to track and record the Sunday morning teaching for live feed to various locations throughout the Church Main building (such as the Nursery and Fellowship Hall), as well as livestreaming to our website, Facebook, and YouTube. This ministry can also videotape weddings and other special events as required.

Audio Ministry

This ministry provides CD copies of the Sunday morning teaching to the congregation, Youth Ministry teachers and Sunday school teachers and aides. It also keeps a library of the CD’s for study use and a record of the library.
